Technical Sales – Zumtobel Lighting

Job description

Puurs (Antwerp area), Belgium. We are looking for a technical sales with a can-do commercial mindset!

As a technical Internal sales:

  • You work in tandem with your external sales colleagues
  • You prepare technical specifications for customer offers in close collaboration with external sales
  • You are the internal point of contact for customers within your portfolio (ranging from architects, installers, to end customers and engineering offices)
  • You are responsible for the preparation and monitoring of client orders, in close cooperation with order processing
  • You take active part in a regular project follow-up: from preparing customer tenders to order processing.
  • You provide the necessary administrative support in SAP
  • You give technical and administrative support to your colleagues
  • You maintain contact with customers and answer technical and commercial questions by phone
  • You maintain contact with national colleagues within the sales team and international contact with colleagues from European production plants
  • You report to the sales manager Belgium

Desired Skills and Experience

  • You are in possession of a technical bachelor diploma combined with commercial skills OR in possession of a commercial bachelor diploma in combination with affinity for architecture and/or solving technical issues
  • You have professional sales experience in a B2B-environment
  • You have a flair for languages. You have a native or bilingual proficiency in French and a full professional proficiency in English. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus for communication with local colleagues.
  • You take initiative and demonstrate a can-do mentality
  • You have the courage to take responsibility
  • You demonstrate a high level of self-reflection and take responsibility for further development
  • You like to work in a cooperative manner to be successful as a team
  • You are familiar with standard MS Office applications, and eager to learn other software platforms used by the Zumtobel Group
