Taiwan International Lighting Show 2016

Taiwan International Lighting Show (TILS) is co-located with LED Taiwan 2016 which showcases LED production equipment and materials, epi wafers, crystals, packaging, modules, etc., as well as related manufacturing technologies.

Organized by the Bureau of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) and jointly implemented by Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and Taiwan Lighting Fixture Export Association (TLFEA), the event is predicted to attract 1,400 international buyers and 16,000 domestic buyers, potentially creating business opportunities worth USD13 million.

“Intelligent Lighting” continues to be the mainstream of lighting technologies. The R&D development in OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) is expected to expedite the growth of the Smart Lighting industry. To keep pace with the new development trend, TILS comprises the following seven themes, to be displayed in the seven pavilions respectively: OLED Theme Lighting Pavilion, Taiwan Intelligent LED Lighting Association Pavilion, Special Area for the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), Special Area for the Economic Development Department, New Taipei City Government, College Displays & Match-Making Pavilion, Innovative Products Pavilion and Lighting Experience Pavilion. They will showcase Taiwan’s R&D achievements in lighting technologies and applications. To keep pace with market development, LED Taiwan also offers the newest LED manufacturing solutions via the three pavilions respectively, the Sapphire and PSS Pavilion, the OLED Manufacturing Pavilion and the High-Light LED Pavilion.
