CONTEXT:
Reporting to the Power Solutions/Lighting Solutions Sales Manager you will be responsible for selling to specifiers and end users such as electrical consultants, architects, local authorities and main building contractors, and working closely with the regional sales teams. You will be joining a 10 people team and be playing a key role in driving segment sales across the region by developing business plans to ensure that Eaton brands are specified by your customers. Lighting products experience is required for this position as well as East Midlands market knowledge. Start ASAP.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
– Tenacity in meeting your customers’ requirements together with an ability to influence both internally and externally to deliver an excellent service.
– Working effectively with regional team to ensure close communication and success in sales
– Ensures that the highest level of safety standards are implemented and aligned with MESH; Eaton’s Zero Incident Safety Culture as well as National guidelines and procedures.
– Deals with customer disputes, complaints and quotes professionally.
– Suggesting innovative ideas, to constantly keep the team moving forward, ahead of the market, ensuring maximum turnover and profit.
– Support specification manager in the execution and development of strategy for specification sales.
– Achieve a set sales target / Achieve a set margin level
– Continuously monitor and improve the conversion rate of quotes to orders for the region.
– Responsible for achievement of economic, quality and customer service.
QUALIFICATIONS:
– Familiar with Lighting products and East Midlands market (East of Birmingham to North London)
– Must have a broad understanding of sales processes, strategies and project management
– Must be approachable and able to communicate at all levels in an effective clear manner
