Nordeon’s Baldur Crowned In The 28th Annual GIO Awards
Nordeon’s Led Light Line System – Baldur has been honoured at the star-studded ceremony of the 28th Annual GIO Awards that took place on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at the Dutch Cacao Factory in Helmond, The Netherlands. The GIO Awards are the leading Good Industrial Design (Goed Industrieel Ontwerp-GIO) Awards recognizing design excellence in The Netherlands. The jury, which nominates and selects The GIO Awards Winners, is comprised of an independent panel of industrial design experts, chaired by Wim Poelman, and further comprising Andre Rotte, Liesbeth Bonekamp and Johan Venneman.

Design & development director Roelof van Driel: ‘VanBerlo is proud to have contributed to the innovative, modular LED lighting system from Nordeon. The design team helped the client to develop a versatile lighting solution with a distinctive, state-of-the-art design’. According to Van Driel, during the design process special attention was paid to the use and ease of installation of the system.
