SENIOR LIGHTING DESIGNER, Wimbledon
Boutique specialist Design Consultant looking for a Designer to join their continuously successful team- South West London based.
Working in the niche sector of Lighting Design, this Industry Design leader has worked with private clients as well as well-known Architecture practices and Interior Design studios.
Their design ethos is governed by the importance of effective lighting solutions considering client needs/budget, the use of natural light and how light influences our impression of a space.
The service provided is all-encompassing including:
-Concept Design
-Budget management
-Cost considerations- including equipment, installation and operational
-Environmental factors- energy efficiency
-Brand management

ROLE
Working with an extremely experienced and established Lighting Designer, this role will need to encompass a support function handling aspects of Design and technical support from concept stages.
You will work with the Lead Designer helping develop concepts and taking them through to technical detailing, producing CAD drawings and working through costings and calculations. There will also be some client liaison and contractor management where required for the project.
With experience in the Lighting Design Industry you will have a portfolio of work demonstrating recent samples of the design of lighting layouts and technical detailing. AutoCAD, photoshop and MS Office proficiency are also pre-requisites to this position.
Working through budgets and calculations you will be using Dialux- experience of using this package would be looked upon particularly favourably.

Having a Lighting Qualification would be looked upon favourable and also having 5+ years worth of experience in this niche sector.
