Havells Sylvania Appoints New President for Europe

Christian Schraft has been appointed the new president of Havells Sylvania Europe.

Schraft joins the business having spent many years with Osram and Siteco in a variety of senior management roles. He began at Osram 8 years ago as CEO of Lighting Electronics & Controls and then took over the Consumer Lighting and Luminaires divisions at the German company.  As well as his roles within the various Business Units at Osram, Christian was Senior Vice President Corporate Strategy and Marketing, guiding Osram through product development for the brand, both in lamps and luminaires and its recent strategic re-orientation and IPO process. His vast experience within the lighting industry as well as his ability to develop and grow teams will be of great benefit to Havells Sylvania.
