Greenlux Finland and Ensto Begin Cooperation

Ensto, a family owned cleantech company specializing in the development, manufacture and marketing of electrical systems and applications, has started a sales and manufacturing co-operation with Greenlux Finland Oy, a 5 year old technology company specialized in energy efficient LED lighting solutions. The cooperation expands Ensto’s lighting offering to office and industrial LED lighting solutions from Greenlux.

“This is a big step in both Greenlux’s internationalization and ever faster growth. Greenlux is able to concentrate better in its own strengths as well as open up new markets quickly through Ensto. In terms of products, the companies do not have overlaps but support each other perfectly,” says Greenlux’s CEO Mikael Broman.

“We wanted to build a partnership with a top player to gain more market share. Greenlux is the leading manufacturer of LED luminaires for parking garages in Scandinavia. These lighting solutions are proven to save up to 80% in energy which will benefit both our customers and the environment,” says Timo Luukkainen, Ensto’s CEO.

The cooperation will immediately be visible at the most important trade fairs in the business. These include the Electricity, Telecommunications, Light and Audio Visual fair (SähköTeleValoAV) in Jyväskylä in the beginning of February and Light+Building held in Frankfurt, Germany at the end of March.

Greenlux and Ensto are both members of Cleantech Finland, a network of top cleantech companies and experts and the hub for all cleantech activity in Finland.
