EU Court Confirms EU Commission: Signify’s “Enabled” Patent Programe Is Not Contrary to EU Competition Law

The EU General Court today (July 13) rejected a claim that the EU commission was wrong, when the EU Commission last year concluded that Signify’s “Enabled” programe is not in contravention of EU competition law.

As far as we understand, the decision may be appealed and as the decision is only a couple of hours old and only in French and Italian versions so far it seems, we dont have yet an exhaustive idea of the reasons for the decision.

As far as we understand, it is the first of its kind related to these patents.
