Responding to the rapid development of LED Lighting technology the Lighting Industry Association (LIA) have developed a NEW course based on the IET Code of Practice for the application of LED Lighting System.
This NEW course and publication will provide confidence to users as a minimum standard for LED Lighting systems installation and serve as an invaluable reference on the application of LED Lighting.
This course aims to provide delegates with the knowledge and understanding of best practice in the design, installation, maintenance and control of LED lighting systems both new and retrofit.
The one day course includes applicational exercises and case study, and will cover
- An overview of LED lighting systems
- LED lighting design
- LED installation; thermal management; drivers and wiring
- LED control systems; dimming methods and protocols: low and mains voltage
- LED maintenance, inspection and testing.
- Retrofit of LED lighting systems.
A copy of IET LED Code for Practice is provided for each delegate
