Our client is a world leading company providing advanced, integrated and sustainable solutions for visual guidance. The Designer main area of competence lies in defining of the design of visual aids for an airport based on international standards, specifications, processes and customers specifications and drawings. On basis of design criteria and knowledge of the products and systems the Design engineer will perform the design which results in compliancy documents, design documents, drawings, bill of quantity, equipment description including mounting and supply of accessories. The designer will function during bid and project realization phases. He will demonstrate to be competent, reliable and able to present, discuss the design with customers and consultants. Maintain together with the ACAD operator(s) the standard company’s design manual and provides drafting support to product managers and sales activities.

We are looking for a person who has a strong interest or knowledge in airport technology or airport operations. Experience as mechanical or electrical or construction designer/ engineer is a plus. The Designer has knowledge and understanding of the ISO drafting standard, practical experience in the use of computer aid design packages, entrepreneurial spirit with a customer focus and knowledge of English and/or Dutch and/or French.
